Job Description:

LNO, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Systems Design Specialist to support operations in one of the following locations:

  • Fort Gordon, GA
  • Fort Campbell, KY

Requirements & Duties:

Experience/Skill Requirement

  • Resource and personnel scheduling based on project needs and deadlines
  • Management of a team of varying skillsets to achieve project goals
  • Establishment and execution of professional development plans for team members of varying specialties
  • Creation of instructional outlines, lesson plans and storyboards
  • Strong background in courseware development
  • Strong background in instruction in a classroom environment
  • Usage of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Microsoft Projector similar software
  • Strong background in educational theory and how it applies to courseware design and development
  • Evaluation of new project requests for feasibility based on existing pro.iects, personnel andresource availability, suitability of material for virtualization, and effectively communicate tocustomers justifications for subjects that are not suited for virtualization
  • Creation and delivery of product offering presentations to potential customers in both small group and conference settings
  • Concise communication of budget, scope and schedule to customers
  • Basic scripting in Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Navigation and common usage of system administrator and instructor interfaces of Learning
  • Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard or Moodle including creating new courses, creating course templates, question pools, quizzes and adaptive releases
  • Coordination of testing and data collection to validate instructional material
  • Analysis of LMS data points to adapt current methodologies to improve product quality
  • Research of industry standards in training development including software and hardware solutions, delivery, and effectiveness metrics to develop guidance for internal best practices
  • Working knowledge of basic lT fundamentals
  • Development within a common 3D engine such as Unity, Unreal Engine, etc
  • Authoring instructional scripts for video and narrated slides
  • Development for WebGL delivery
  • Audio capture and editing including a strong understanding of audio processing concepts
  • Professional quality photograph editing including photo enhancements and manipulation
  • Professional quality video editing including awareness of modern video formats for cross-platform web delivery
  • Courseware development in Articulate Storyline or similar e-learning authoring tools
  • Strong background in structured programming languages.
  • Proficiency with Adobe CC software including After Effects, Photoshop, lllustrator and Premiere or equivalent software
  • Possess a working knowledge of current technologies available to develop online training environments including video, common e-learning tools, learning management systems and 2D and 3D technologies and how those technologies are most effectively applied to online training
  • Portfolio of relevant work including samples of courses developed, examples of professional development plans and presentations developed.

Education Requirement

  • Degree in Business Management, lT Management, Software Development or other related degree or a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 years of related experience in lT project management
  • Familiarity with Warfighter lnformation Network-Tactical (WlN-T)
  • Possess or be capable of attaining the following certifications: CompTlA A+, Network+,
    Security+, CTT+, PMP, lTlL
