Job Description:

LNO, Inc. is currently in search of a Project Specialist to support a variety of professional-level research, analytical, and administrative duties related to the operational activities of assigned programs, supports administrative operations and activities including special projects and other specialized functions. Assists in identifying and resolving operational and administration issues; observes, gathers, compiles, verifies, analyzes, and correlates pertinent information, facts, and data; identifies alternative solutions or sound conclusions; and makes and assists in the implementation of recommendations. 

Skill Requirements  

  • Works under general supervision to perform daily administrative support functions for all projects assigned as a specialist in specific areas of operations 

  • Responsible for the direct supervision and training of subordinate personnel 

  • Review, revise, and edit routine to moderately difficult correspondence, reports, and informational materials 

  • Ensures all personnel actions are handled expeditiously to ensure continued operations; ensures corrective action for any items is taken or escalated to higher manager as appropriate 

  • Responsible for the overall management of program and project travel and deployment operations within the department ensuring mission readiness 

  • Prepares necessary documents for personnel changes, terminations 

  • Communicates any inability to meet customer delivery expectations immediately to appropriate manager 

  • Proficient in the use of computers and softwares, to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel 

  • Uses common office equipment, e.g., facsimile (fax) machines, copiers, projectors, and PC printers  

  • Performs high quality project support 

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, as candidate will be contacting various levels of government/client personnel 

  • Must be able to handle confidential information i.e. maintain logs, records, archives and/or working files 

  • Must be able to work independently given minimum instruction and supervision, handles correspondence, prepares reports, arranges meetings and/or travel arrangements 

  • Ability to perform quality assurance/quality control audits and develops quality assurance/quality control procedures 

Education Requirements 

Requires high school diploma; Associate’s Degree preferred 

 

Experience Requirements 

 

4-6 year(s) of experience in project administration and/or management  

2-3 year(s) of specialized experience database management, data entry, reporting and etc 

Preference will be given to candidates that possess Project Management experience
